How many people say they are excited by work? Many organisations “say” that they are doing transformational projects, talk about the good things they “could” do and yet somehow struggle to make them happen.
I relish a challenge of growth, the chance to overcome issues or barriers, to take something beyond the ordinary and into the high performance with positive outcomes, and hence really enjoy the role I have now. Coming from an engineering background I look at the bigger picture, analyse the options, take input and reflect before taking the right path forward; it is an attribute that has served me well in my business and sales life.
Being from Yorkshire I have a reputation for a straight talking style, some say I don’t pull any punches but actually I think I use my experience to engage at all levels in our customers and help them think differently about the opportunities where we can all get the right benefits and results – win for client, win for the team and for the business.
I am working within a great team of visionary executives and investors, innovators / R&D, sales, services, support teams and partners on an exciting journey. Together we are building on our culture to help our clients transform their outcomes through high value solutions that exist, are transformational and are being delivered today.
My reputation is to get things done, to move things forward and to make them bigger, better and more efficient. My colleagues and peers often refer to me as the person to go to get a decision or at least an opinion. They don’t always agree, but I will always share my honest views in context and support them to do things differently, if they need it.
