Camilla van den Boom (MSc) is a strategy consultant specialising in how to lead, manage and develop organisations. She has 20 years of experience in strategy development, strategy implementation and organisational (re)design within large (inter)national organisations. Camilla worked as a management consultant for Accenture, Andersen and Deloitte, helping clients to define new strategic frameworks, business models and organisational roadmaps. She now heads the strategy consulting firm Sturrm, an organisation that helps clients to develop new business models and business strategies by means of doing research on the future.
Camilla is lecturer Strategic Management and Business Model Design at TIAS School for Business and Society. She is a faculty member at several industry and in-company programs on Strategy, Innovation and Business Modelling at TIAS Finance Lab and TIAS Company Specific Programs. Camilla is also lecturer Business Model Design at Eindhoven University of Technology. Business Model Design is part of the Industrial Design program and the USI Post-Doc PDEng program.
Camilla conducts research on how organisations and individuals can craft the future using a combination of proven management and business theories, various tools for strategic analysis and contemporary design thinking. Her research focuses on the development of new business models and business strategies in an ever-changing context. Not only does her research centre on what organisations need to do to be successful, but also on how they get it done.
Camilla holds a MSc degree in International Business from School of Business, Economics and Law at University of Gothenburg. She additionally studied at University of Brighton and University of Lüneburg. She speaks English, Dutch, German and Swedish.
Camilla is a member of Mensa International.
